Baby Name Bingo (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a tool that helps you choose a baby name. We designed it to be private by default. This policy explains what data is and isn’t handled when you use the app.

The short version

• We do not require an account or sign-in.
• Your name list and game progress are stored only on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to them.
• We do not show ads and do not use third-party analytics.
• The only data leaving your device is what’s needed to process an optional in-app purchase, handled by Google Play and RevenueCat.

Information stored on your device

The app saves the following in your device’s local storage so you can pick up where you left off:

• your shortlist of names and in-progress game,
• your theme and display preferences,
• whether you’ve unlocked Pro.

This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us or to any server. You can remove it at any time with the app’s “Start over” option or by uninstalling the app.

Purchases (optional Pro upgrade)

If you buy the one-time Pro upgrade, the purchase is processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat, our billing provider. To complete, validate, and restore purchases, these services process data such as a purchase token, product identifier, and device/app identifiers. We use RevenueCat only to confirm whether you’re entitled to Pro. We do not receive or store your payment card details — Google Play handles payment.

Information we do NOT collect

• No name, email, address, or contacts.
• No location.
• No advertising identifiers; no ads.
• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Name data

The names and popularity rankings shown in the app come from the U.S. Social Security Administration’s public-domain baby-names data. This is reference data bundled with the app and does not involve any of your personal information.

Children

The app is intended for expecting parents and other adults choosing a baby name. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data security & retention

Because your app data stays on your device, its security is governed by your device. Purchase data is handled by Google and RevenueCat under their own security practices. On-device data persists until you clear it or uninstall.

International users

Google and RevenueCat may process purchase-related data in countries other than your own, under their respective privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
